Frank is married to the former Mary Pack of Sumter, SC. They have 2 children, Mark and Stephanie. Frank surrendered to the call to vocational evangelism in 1968. He has a B.A. from Charleston Southern University and a TH.M from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Frank has served as youth pastor, associate & senior pastor and has led in over 700 revivals and camps. Frank  is a member of the Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists (COSBE) and serves on its Executive Committee.

Church´s Responsibility

Frank is a vocational evangelist largely dependent upon the people he serves to provide not only for his family needs but operational expenses for this ministry. In lieu of this it is suggested a church having Frank provide these three things.

  1. Reimbursement of travel expenses and meals.
  2. Lodging in a motel. (Preference: Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn or Marriot chains) Please book Frank’s room for the Saturday prior to the starting Sunday with checkout the morning after the closing service.
  3. In addition to a base honorarium it is requested love offerings be received in each service. The Frank Shivers Evangelistic Association will provide offering envelopes at no expense.

Statement of Faith

The sole basis of our beliefs is the Bible. We believe it to be the infallible and inerrant Word of God verbally and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit. We believe in the virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death and triumphant resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe in future judgment and man´s eternal existence after death in Heaven or Hell. We believe Acts 20:21 that teaches that man is only saved by exercising “repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.” With all the saints we look forward to the second coming of Christ to earth – personally, visibly and bodily – to complete the eternal plan of God that was formed from the foundation of the world.
